Der innovative Eigner hat die Dampfmaschine in perfekter Kleinarbeit selber gebaut, wir konstruieren das Schiff darum herum.
Der Stahlbau des neues Dampfboots "Steamy" bei ABT-Blächtechnik in Zofingen ist abgeschlossen und abgenommen. Nun wird der Rumpf Sandgestrahlt und professionell konserviet und gestrichen.
In der Werkstätten der Fachhochschule Windisch wird dann die Dampfmaschine ins Schiff eingepasst und abgestimmt. Das schiff soll noch in diesem Jahr die Wasser des Hallwylersees erkunden.

Der Bodensee ist Trinkwasser Reservat für ein sehr grosses Gebiet, dies erfordert eine strickte Überwachung der Wasserqualität und auch an das Schiff um diese durch Proben sicherzustellen. Die Daphnia wird in der Bodan Werft in Kressbron am Bodensee gebaut. Wir haben das Schiff speziell nach den Anforderungen und Gegebenheiten der ZVBWV entwickelt.
